About Sunny

Hi! Welcome to Sunny Valley—I’m Sunny, a dreamer from a small town in central Vietnam. Growing up in Hatinh, I dreamed of exploring beyond my hometown. Through persistence, I earned a full scholarship to Pearson College UWC, where I studied with peers from over 100 countries, broadening my worldview.

After a gap year volunteering globally, I pursued a bachelor’s in the US and a master’s in the UK, followed by several years in the hedge fund industry. Now, I’m back in Vietnam, where my days are a mix of triathlon training, working on sustainability industry, chairing the UWC Vietnam selection committee, and bringing Sunny Valley to life. This space is a reflection of my journey, one that’s still unfolding. I’m so glad you’re here!
